Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide accounting and recordkeeping of cash transactions generated by a large number of subsidiaries.

Determines daily working capital requirements and utilizes automated cash management mobilization and information systems to coordinate appropriate inflows / outflows of Business Unit cash.

Supports the Business Units and assists the North America Treasury Head with daily, weekly and period reporting. This role also includes strong support to digital innovation, process efficiency and Treasury initiatives across the ATBC Treasury and its client base. What are we looking for?

University degree / Bachelor’s degree with additional treasury certification is a plus.* 3 to 5 years in minimum working experience in a FMCG / MNC environment.

Knowledge of corporate cash management, financial accounting and general ledger. Must have demonstrated ability to work with personal computers and the following standard software packages : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Alteryx and Power BI skills a plus.Good knowledge of banking products as applicable to Corporate Treasury. What will be your key responsibilities?

• Prepare daily consolidation of cash collections / controlled disbursements and determines working capital requirements for client Business Units.
• Execute related money transfers (broker, controlled disbursement, accounts payable, payroll, letter of credit, concentration, bank fees and funding) for Business Units.

Maintains responsibility for all ACH (automated clearing-house) and direct wire transfers.

Post and reconcile previous day transactions and research related discrepancies. Maintain records for bank debit / credit activity, collections / disbursements, wire transfers and all other related transactions specific to unit accounts.

Research unidentified inbound receipts by working directly with the banks and Business Unit A / R departments.

• Prepare journal entries at period-end for all related transactions and is specifically responsible for the integrity / accuracy of all SAP general ledger cash accounts and benefit-related transactions.
• Prepare consolidated 4 week cash forecasts and forecast accuracy reporting.
• Prepare cash position and analysis of the daily sweep amounts at Bank of America, JP Morgan and Citibank and investigates any large balance discrepancies from previous day cash position estimates.

Only through analysis of prior day working capital requirements (estimates vs. actual) can the ATBC fine-tune the accuracy of the process and maximize investment income.

Maintain the bank account inventory spreadsheet for all US accounts. Administration of Mars electronic Bank Account Management (MeBAM) system.

Process account opening / closing requests.

Ensures training documentation kept up to date

• Reporting for certification support, governance and controls, and bank relationship management.
• Serves as an operational back up to other positions in the department.
• Ad-hoc integration and project support.
