Responsibilities:
bilingual ( creole and or Spanish) with working experience at personal injury clinic.
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist with patient billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
- Provide support to chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments
- Educate patients on chiropractic care and answer any questions they may have
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Experience in a medical or dental office setting, preferably as a receptionist or assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR systems (such as Epic or Dentrix)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with chiropractors and other staff members
