Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sterilizing, assembling, and distributing medical instruments and equipment in a healthcare setting.
Duties:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established procedures.
- Assemble instrument trays and surgical kits according to prescribed protocols.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and infection control policies.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician program or equivalent experience.
- CRCST
- Knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile processing.
- Understanding of physiology and anatomy.
- Certification in Sterile Processing preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
