Description: Physical Requirements:
Hand wrap Food warehouse selected pallets by hand. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, work in all temperatures including the freezer. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Place blankets on cooler pallets
· Deliver pallets to correct dock and location for loaders
· Retrieve out of stocks brought to control center by selectors
· Become certified to operate pallet jack/scrubber/cardboard and shrink wrap baler
· Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
· Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
· Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience: A minimum one-year warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to read load diagrams
- basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
