MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Assembler, for a client located in Minnetonka MN, USA. Our client is a well-known Water technologies and organization seeking bright, tech-savvy talent.

Location: Minnetonka MN, USA

Job Type: 100% Onsite

Job Title: Manufacturing - Assembler

Experience Level: Experience in home or auto repair, construction and basic use of tools, will allow for a minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience.

Nice to Have Skills: Fabrication processes that includes use of PVC Primers and Glues and other fabrication

Schedule/Hours: 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Mechanical Technician I is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly/fabrication of industrial water systems according to quality systems and specifications. These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary.
  • Must work in a safe manner and comply with all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure use of appropriate PPE and adhere to safety protocols for assembly.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Fabrication processes that includes use of PVC Primers and Glues and other fabrication tools.
  • Fabricate and assemble subcomponents of equipment.
  • Position, install, and secure all sub-components into various pieces of equipment as per appropriate drawings.
  • Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed and match applicable drawings and sign QA documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated high-quality work, initiative, and the ability to work unsupervised at times.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills such as safe use of power tools, thread taping and assembly PVC pipe fabrication.
  • Experience in home or auto repair, construction and basic use of tools, will allow for a minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
