Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments - Supervise and coordinate contractors or external service providers when necessary - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements - Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans - Assist in the development of safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations - Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders Requirements: - Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment - Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings - Leadership skills to supervise contractors or external service providers - Proficiency in logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus - Ability to fabricate and weld as needed - Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting electrical systems - Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
