JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Leadership Corporate Delivery is responsible for facilitation and delivery support services for Leadership and Corporate Headquarters programs with the primary focus of Accelerator Programming. This position requires leadership development, project management, facilitation and vendor management experience. This position will also help the Director, Global Leadership Development, with coordination of delivery of leadership content globally, working with our Continent Learning Leads and HR Partners, and support learning labs and other leadership development needs as necessary. 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Facilitation and Delivery

  • Leads facilitation and logistics for the Leadership Acceleration Programs, with the exception of Summit. 
  • Leads coordination of the logistics associated with each program, including communication to participants, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ensures the materials for the programs are prepared in advance of the program event.
  • Ensures learning objectives for each session are attained, caring for the Marriott voice and cultural elements. 
  • Provides informal coaching to participants, as needs arise. 
  • Oversight of inputs for Leadership into mHub to ensure course descriptions, new classes etc. are up to date and accurate for corporate programs. 
  • Ensures participant records are placed in mHub in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provides regular status updates on Accelerator programs.
  • Manages financial processing for tuition for Accelerator programs.
  • Provide reports related to Accelerator programs including completions, non-completions, etc.
  • Implement innovative delivery options for Accelerator programs, as appropriate.

Project Management, Deployment and Measurement

  • Creates deployment strategy for Accelerator programs, with support from Director. 
  • Ensures Accelerator programs adapt to support organizational competencies and growth priorities as they are updated. 
  • Identifies vendors to facilitate and/ or develop new content as needed, and manages bid process to select vendors that are culturally aligned and experts in identified topics. 
  • Works with the global team of Continent Learning Leads to ensure global programming is pulled through and Accelerator programming is executed in coordination with center. 
  • Strong ability to influence without authority, when working with stakeholder groups. 
  • Defines measurement strategy to reflect success metrics and opportunity areas for each cohort, program track and total annual Accelerator programming, adhering to team norms and with support from Director. 
  • Meets program budget, and provides accurate and timely documentation regarding budgetary decisions. 
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Sets and tracks goal progress for self and others.
  • Monitors the work of others to ensure it is completed on time and meets expectations.
  • Provides direction and assistance to other organizational units’ policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of resources.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

  • BA/BS (or equivalent) in facilitation, adult learning methodology, leadership development or related field required.
  • 5 years of facilitation, instructional design, development or similar experience.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; experience operating in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Experience with developing Brand Service training / Management & Leadership Development
  • Strong PowerPoint/ visual design skills
