Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for various areas
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and replacement
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and address any issues or concerns
- Respond to customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in custodial and housekeeping management
Experience:
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping management, preferably in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
