Job Description

Job Description

SUMMARY: Documents customer owned machine repairs, and processes billing on completion. Inspects machines coming back from rental, for damage and notes such, as well as processes billing for damaged rentals when repaired. Responsible for maintaining telematics details for rental and customer machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1. Works with service manager to produce quotes for customer requested repairs.

2. Processes work orders for customer machines repaired in house and in the field.

3. Ensures accuracy and proper completion of repair paperwork.

4. Inspects machines returned from rental, for damage, notes such damage, and produces a bill for repairs upon completion.

5. Maintains spreadsheet of damaged rentals, as well as documentation of damage and billing.

6. Track Unit – Responsible for onboarding new devices, and input of machine information.

7. Track Unit – Maintain and update maintenance performed on fleet, as well as produce work orders for upcoming required maintenance to ensure compliance with service intervals.

8. Down Equipment – Maintains list of down equipment.

9. Fills in for service manager when needed and is in training to become service manager.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Educational and experience and requirements

Must have extensive knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance procedures. Must possess strong organizational skills thus being able to schedule repairs. Strong computer entry capabilities are necessary along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail a must. Must be very safety conscious.
