**Marquiss Construction Carpenter Helper**

A reputable North Seattle General Contractor has an immediate opening for a Carpenter Helper. Our Company has been in business for more than 45 years.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting carpenter, light framing and drywall work, painting, punch lists, organizing all materials on site, cleaning up debris, maintaining a clean job site and miscellaneous other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Employment:

• 3 years’ carpentry/construction experience or desire to learn
• Knowledge of basic construction tools
• Must have a strong ability and desire to learn new skills, follow instructions and take initiative
• Be organized and have a commitment to quality workmanship
• Possess good communication skills
• Must have a valid Washington State driver's license, insured automobile and working cell phone
• Ability to carry at least 50 lbs. without assistance

Starting wage depends on experience and knowledge, with the ability to increase quickly.

Compensation: Wages $21 (depending on experience and knowledge), Holiday and Vacation Pay, Medical and Vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
