We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Shift: Monday through Friday 1:00 pm to 9:40 pm (2nd shift)

Length: Temporary (approximately 6 months contract)

Compensation: $24.25 10% shift differential

- Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
- Make coffee available for all staff at coffee serving areas by maintaining clean pots and surface areas
- Follow established safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary
- Operate floor care equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners to maintain the cleanliness of floors

- Must hold a valid Drivers License to operate golf cart

- Must be proficient in operating floor scrubbers, hand tools, and large quantities of supplies

- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and report any issues or concerns

- Minimum of 6 months of janitorial experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

- Report any safety concerns
