The Sr. Basic Software (BSW) Engineers are responsible for AUTOSARDevelopment for Passive-Entry Passive Start (PEPS) and Battery ManagementSystem (BMS) products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for AUTOSAR Software Architecture
• Help in board bringing, build environment including make files, compiler settings etc
• Support configuration of MCAL
• Development of AUTOSAR based complex device drivers for the platforms
• Integration of 3rd party complex device drivers including HSM, safety libraries etc
• Configuration of OS , BSW component layers as per program specific requirements
• Development of flash bootloader (FBL) is a plus
• Develop software architecture documents
• Develop software specifications based on system specifications and software architecture
• Develop software in accordance with ASPICE requirements
• Participate in design and development of safety (ISO26262) related projects
• Participate in design and development of Cybersecurity projects
• Perform Stack and Memory Analysis on all software projects
• Identify issues in the design phase and requirements analysis
• Research solutions to complex technical problems and recommend cost effective resolution approaches

Qualifications

• Experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator and Developer
• Advanced ability to use various software development tools and programming languages such as C
• Proficiency in utilizing debuggers/emulators, Oscilloscope, Meter, and Function Generator
• Advanced knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
• Thorough understanding of microcontrollers and automotive embedded systems
• Good knowledge of Vector tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer…etc
• Understanding of hardware design and ability to read and interpret schematics
• Have knowledge of ASPICE process
• Knowledgeable in utilizing requirements management tool ( Eg: Doors)
• Knowledgeable in utilizing Configuration management tool (Eg: Dimensions)
• May perform other duties and special projects as assigned by engineering manager
• Preferred but not required to have work experience with Battery Management Systems
• Preferred but not required to have work experience with Bluetooth low energy (BLE)
• Preferred but not required to have work experience Ultra-wide band (UWB)
• Preferred but not required to have work experience with Near field communication (NFC)
