• Install, configure, and troubleshoot automated systems such as logic controllers (PLCs) sensors and robotic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement automation solutions that boost efficiency and productivity.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on automated equipment to ensure performance.
• Identify malfunctions in automated systems, diagnose components and carry out repairs.
• Work with cross functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives in automation processes.
• Maintain documentation of automation configurations, maintenance activities and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide training and support to production staff regarding the use and upkeep of automated systems.
• Ability to travel between sites up to 30% travel.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Possess proven experience as an Automation Technician or in a role.
• Knowledge of PLC programming along with industrial automation systems.
• Experience with robotics, sensors, and other automated control systems.
• Proficiency in understanding and analyzing drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem solving. Adept at troubleshooting.
• Attentive to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy.
• Effective communication. Ability to work well with others.
• Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Possession of industry certifications in automation or related fields.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards of automation.
