The Workday Developer/Analyst at Marmon will be a key member of our HR and IT teams, responsible for supporting, configuring, and developing solutions within the Workday platform and collaborating with HR and IT stakeholders to optimize Workday functionality, troubleshoot issues, and develop custom solutions to meet our business needs.
This role will support, develop, and test existing integrations with vendors for Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, and other legacy Marmon systems such as Igloo, Okta, and ServiceNow. This individual will create system specifications for Workday, develop code, configure system settings, and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
This role will analyze technical and system issues and recommend automated solutions, processes, and procedures for improvement around the Workday ecosystem and related integrations.
Workday was implemented as Marmon's Global HR platform in late 2019. Currently implemented modules include Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Absence, Recruitment, and Learning, with additional Workday modules (e.g., Payroll) to be implemented in the future.
What you'll do:

• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to understand business requirements related to Workday and translate them into technical solutions
• Configure and maintain Workday modules to align with HR processes, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
• Assist in the integration of Workday with other third-party systems, ensuring data synchronization and system interoperability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday, providing timely support to end-users
• Stay up to date with Workday releases, new features, and best practices, and implement changes and enhancements accordingly
• Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts related to Workday updates and changes
• Maintain system documentation on configurations, customizations, and processes
• Support Benefits and Payroll vendor applications, HCM, Okta, Igloo, ServiceNow, and Microsoft AD
• Troubleshoot system issues, analyze data, and coordinate with other teams

What you'll do:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field strongly desired
• 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Workday
• Certifications in Workday integrations and/or one or more Workday module(s) a definite plus
• Experience with Workday Integration Tools including Core Connectors, EIBs, Workday Reports, Studio, Packaged Integrations, and Custom integrations is essential
• Knowledge of integration security configuration
• Experience configuring Workday integrations to external vendors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills interacting with various levels of the organization
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint
• Solid understanding of Cloud Integration methodologies
