Description:

• Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products in accordance with contract and corporate specifications
• Follow company’s inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials in the US.
• Prepare and maintain quality records and inspection reports.
• Investigate and document the root cause of non-conformances.
• Conduct problem solving and resolution, collaborating with vendors, engineering, project management, and customers.
• Develop, implement, apply and/or witness NDT techniques and procedures.
• Apply knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering methodologies and NDT methods for input to design reviews, failure analysis, quality program plans and construction documentation.
• Remote opportunity (for individuals with experience) - will need to be in CLT for the beginning to train/get up to speed on processes/etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 5 years of experience in the hydropower industry preferred OR experience in an industrial construction or manufacturing environment.
• CWI or possess the education and experience required to qualify for certification and a working knowledge of ASME and AWS Codes.
• NDT/NDE related technical experience
