To perform the day-to-day operations of the Shipping & Receiving Departments including safe and timely shipments of quality products to satisfy customer demands. To perform shipping and receiving functions including the preparation of packing lists and bills of lading and other shipping documents in the ERP system.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

• Perform all shipping activities for axles, kits and service parts
• Coordinate with customer service manager, purchasing manager, line leads and truck carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments
• Perform visual product quality checks
• Manage all incoming return authorizations
• Proactively review paperwork for errors and omissions to prevent interruptions in shipments
• Follow and reinforce company policies and procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices
• Serve as backup support for breakdown of received axles for production as needed
• Serve as backup support for all receiving activities including identifying, stocking, and submitting paperwork.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-year shipping/receiving experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (primarily a standing position)
• Must be able to bend at back and knees for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in facility with minimal climate control
• Additional desired attributes
  • Forklift certified
  • Basic awareness of UPS and FedEx computer system

Employment offer will be contingent of successfully clearing background check and hair follicle drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Mon. – Thurs. (4 – 10-hour days). Some O.T. may be required.

Pay: Starting $21.00. Salary commensurate with experience.
