Marmon Aerospace and Defense is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! The Shipping Clerk must be able to organize orders and maintain good housekeeping in the shipping area. The employee will also be asked to help with the movement of material within the plant. The individual must have a general knowledge of logistics and be able to ensure safe material travel. This role reports to the shipping and receiving manager and operates on a 3rd shift schedule M-F. Responsibilities Must organize orders required for shipment Must be able to organize the area to help future shipments Maintain and return deposit pallets, boxes, and reels Assist in maintaining the receiving area’s cleanliness and organization Assist in returning material to the stockroom Assist in pulling required material for the plant Assist in the movement of material throughout the plant Scrap (departmental and bleed); collect and document scrap material Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work over-time as the demand requires General knowledge of logistical ideals Ability to maintain inventory Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on multiple occasions per day Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
