Marmen inc. is Hiring a Heavy equipment operator Near Brandon, SD

Heavy Lift Truck Operators work as part of a team where discipline and rigor are the highest priorities. They perform complex operations that require a high level of attention, concentration and coordination.

This position opening is currently for a nights only schedule. $2 premium for night shift. $23.25 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience and shift.

A HEAVY LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR MUST BE ABLE TO :

  • Operate a high capacity lift truck to handle over-sized complex parts;
  • Identify the lift truck components and report abnormalities if applicable;
  • Use safe methods while operating the lift truck;
  • Respect the load limit considering the handling techniques and standards;
  • Scan environment, assess risks and take the necessary precautions;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor;
  • May be out of the lift truck up to 50% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Climb stairs and ladders;
  • Work at heights;
  • Lift and carry between 30-70 lbs.;
  • Bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach;
  • Work above shoulder height;
  • Tolerate exposure to weather, hot / cold environments;

Relevant experience or training is an asset.
