Job Title: Moldmaker (Project Leader)

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma (preferred) or GED.

Must have an understanding of Algebra and Trigonometry.

Must be able to read and comprehend complex mold drawings, and part prints.

Must have completed a formal four-year Apprenticeship Program or Five years of experience in the field of mold making.

Must be capable of constructing, altering, maintaining and/or repairing Plastic Injection molds.

Must be computer literate. CAD and Windows base programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

Is responsible for the overall construction and quality of the project.

Reviews mold designs and attend planning meeting.

Operate general manual machine shop equipment (Bridgeport mills, Lathes, Grinders) and support equipment.

Provide drawings and/or written instructions to moldmakers / machinist specialists on how to perform the required task.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently lifts, carries, moves and positions objects weight up to 55 pounds.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:

• field of mold making: 7 years (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
