Automotive Deal Processor/Assistant Accountant

Tri-State Nissan is currently seeking an experienced full-time Deal Processor/Accounting Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be detail and team-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Function:

• Ensure accurate processing of all customer sales transactions into the general ledger.
• Utilize exemplary customer service skills to obtain missing or incomplete information
• Reconcile gap/service contracts and aftermarket products (tire & wheel)
• Processes sales commissions reports and submits to Payroll.
• Cancellation of extended warranties
• Assist with Accounts Receivables
• Assist / Provide as a backup for payroll
• Cover Offer Managers in Front Royal and Luray Stores
• Crosstrain in other accounting roles
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist the controller with other designated tasks.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience
• Experience with dealership documentation and accounting systems highly preferred
• Effective communications skills to present information and respond to questions from managers - clients - customers - and the public
• Competent math skills including the ability to add - subtract - multiply - and divide in all units of measure - using whole numbers - common fractions - and decimals
• Ability to create reports
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• CDK experience preferred but not required.
