Job Title: Division Unit Head
Classification: Nonexempt (Seasonal)
Reports to: This position reports to the Camp Director
Position Purpose:
To further the camp's mission through daily management and supervision of campers and counselors. The mission of the Unit Head is to create and maintain open lines of communication with families about daily activities and camp programming as well as their children's social and emotional development.
Communication with families is key as it allows them to connect with our camp through emails, camper blasts, and group photography.

Unit heads will work closely with their Care Team partner to ensure the day-to-day flow of camp is safe, fun, and that campers and staff are supported.
Unit heads will report to the Camp Director daily and weekly for check-ins.
Unit heads will manage counselor expectations and day-to-day responsibilities.
Unit heads will be responsible for maintaining a close relationship with families and communicating daily by email and/ or phone.
Qualifications (Minimum qualifications and experience)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Salary Range: $6,500-8,000
Physical Aspects of the Position:Some physical requirements of a unit head specialist could be endurance, including standing, some bending, and stretching. Requirement for eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to make projects and assist campers. Requires range of hearing and eyesight necessary to maintain a safe camp environment and carefully observe camper and staff day-to-day experiences.
