Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview :

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technical and functional aspects of INFOR LN Cloud Suite Industrial Enterprise (Infor LN CSIE - MT), BaaN IV and Infor OS solutions, with expertise in implementing and supporting various ERP modules and functionalities.
• As a Techno-Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring the system, developing customizations, process automation and providing technical advice and support to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of the solutions.
• As a Techno-Functional Consultant, you will also explore and reverse engineer the current BaaN implementation.
• May be required to travel to Customer location in Merida, Mexico for less than 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

• Consult with business stake holders to understand functional processes, requirements, pain areas and analyze, recommend, and implement Infor BaaN IV / LN CSIE / Infor OS solutions and enhancements.
• Reverse engineer and document current processes and technical solution.
• Take part in implementation of Infor LN CSIE modules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client-specific requirements.

Provide support for data validation, business process testing and defect resolution during data migration and implementation.

Design, configure, test, deploy and manage Infor LN Modules and functionalities to align with business processes and requirements.

Infor LN modules include Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehousing, Finance, Invoicing, etc.

• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where customization or integration is needed to meet business needs.
• Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions related to Infor functionalities during implementation and day to day transactions.

You will translate high level business requirements into functional specifications.

• Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
• Develop and customize reports using Infor tools and external tools to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Provide training and support to users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Infor applications.
• Participate in CRP, SIT, UAT, and data validation to ensure system integrity and accuracy.

Technical Responsibilities :

• Translate functional specifications to design, develop and document technical solutions.
• Application-level configuration on Infor cloud platform primarily focused on LN applications leveraging technical expertise in Infor OS options.
• Provide expert advice on Infor LN CSIE best practices, functionalities, and industry trends. Proactively identify and propose business processes and system enhancements, including automation and digital transformation wherever possible.
• Participate with the project implementation team for understanding extension development requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Infor LN modules with extensions / add-ons and other business systems for seamless data flow and consistency.
• Advise and provide technical support to functional team while implementing new modules within Infor LN / Infor OS.
• Responsible for Infor OS configuration, Company setups, Parameters, and master data
• Defining user roles, menus, authorizations, workflows, workspace, DEM, etc.
• Collaborate with third party developers.
• Provide architectural guidance to the project team. Define technical and IT solutions strategies to stakeholders and ensure that solution architecture designed are in sync with business needs and hardware.
• Analyze Infor LN and other application error and audit logs periodically and report possible risks / threats to the business and systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and hot fixes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of Infor environments.
• Stay updated with Infor LN CSIE releases, technology trends and best practices and provide recommendations for implementing new features and services.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Masters or Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience as an Infor BaaN and LN CSIE Techno Functional Consultant, not as end user.
• Strong knowledge of Infor BaaN IV & LN CSIE modules and functionalities, with expertise in system configuration, business process optimization, customization, automation, and implementation methodologies.
• Proven experience in implementing Infor BaaN and LN CSIE / Infor OS projects, modules, and apps.
• Good domain business knowledge of Manufacturing industry business processes and devising methods to implement them with the ERP applications.
• Ability to understand and communicate the capabilities and tools provided by Infor to support the development of technical solutions.
• Experience in data migration and integration of Infor Ln with external applications using Infor tools such as Infor OS, APIs, RestAPIs, Web Services, Public Interface DLL, BODs, BEDs, Mongoose, Widgets, Ln Extension, MEC tools, and Infor Mobility tools.
• Knowledge in Infor OS products like Document Processor, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Invoice Processing Content, Digital Assistant (Coleman), Cloud Egress, etc.

Knowledge of utilizing modern technologies such as AI, IoT, etc. in automating the business processes.

• Experience in Infor OS solutions like Ming.le, Workflows, Alerts, Job Shop Finite Scheduler, Factory Track, BarTender, Birst, IDM, ODM, CPQ, etc.
• Knowledge in development of integrated hand-held mobility solutions, barcode automation, route planning solution, POS, integration of Advanced WMS with Infor, etc.
• Should be well versed with the table structures and relationships in Infor LN CSIE
• Technical skills including proficiency in SQL, .Net, Java, Python, etc.
• Strong knowledge in configuring Infor Data Fabric, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Streaming, JDBC Connector, ETL tools, and other methodologies of data fetching.
• Good knowledge of developing reports and dashboards using Report Designer, Birst, PowerBI, Excel, etc.
• Strong knowledge of setting up customized and more complex Workflows in Infor.
• Good knowledge about servers, databases, and networks.
