$17.50 p/hr

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates. 

Maintain knowledge of current safety regulations and communicate updates to the safety department

• Job safety Monitoring

• Travel to different sites across the DFW Metroplex to monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Conduct scheduled or impromptu safety audits
• Maintain knowledge of current safety regulations and communicate updates to the safety department
• Documentation Management
  • Compile and report accurate and timely safety records, including incident reports, equipment inspections, safety audits, etc.
  • Prepare safety-related reports and documentation as needed
  • Assist with the implementation of safety manuals, policies, and procedures
• Safety Training and Education
  • Implement job or project-specific safety training as needed
  • Assist in the routine maintenance of training records
  • Help Monitor training compliance and track training completion
• Incident Investigation
  • Assist in conducting thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
• Safety Culture Promotion
  • Foster a culture of safety and promote safety awareness throughout the organization
  • Engage employees at all levels to actively participate in safety programs
  • Aid in creating and communicating best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent ( some college or associate degree preferred)
• Willing to gain knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, and RCRA
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player attitude is a must

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-Commissioned Security license through the state of Texas
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Previous security experience required!
