This position is responsible for:

  • Providing the project management expertise for the coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects ranging in value from $50K to $20M or more.
  • Act as a liaison, reporting to and coordinating with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels
  • Oversee the Site O&M support contractor for resource allocation and document control
  • Ensuring that the government receives valid cost proposals
  • Developing and reporting metrics to support the paradigm of continuous improvement
  • Project initiation, assisting in completion of and reviewing requirements documents to ensure that the customer requirements for power, space and cooling are met
  • Demonstrated project management skills associated with managing performance, budget, schedules, and adhering to control gates
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
  • Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing resources
  • Develop and submit multiple project development documents used for planning and execution of the project
  • Prepare and monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction related issues
  • Prepare and edit/update project status briefings and support leadership briefings
  • Support and occasionally provide site tours for distinguished and other identified visitors
  • Facilitate project coordination between multiple government stakeholders
  • Support the Space Management Working Group (SMWG) data calls
  • Review and develop space management plans
  • Have a general understanding of space planning and ADA/ABA guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS *

  • Active TS/SCI with a CI poly
  • Basic knowledge of the government organization and method of conducting business within a facilities program
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
  • Ability to travel local

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities related engineering or architectural field with 7 years of relevant experience in IC, DOD or Commercial Sector in the last 12 years
  • Experience managing repair work-orders
  • Experience managing exterior maintenance projects to include site work, site paving, grounds, and other exterior projects.
  • Experience creating Scopes of Work (SOW) for RFP/RFI/IFB packages to include Government Cost Estimates (GCE)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tool
  • Experience with schedule analysis
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Archibus, and/or SAP
