Description:

Markon is seeking a highly qualified candidate who will provide program management support to facilitate the enduring efforts of the facilities asset management branch of Marine Corps Installations Command on headquarters-level facilities planning initiatives. These initiatives fundamentally shift how the Marine Corps approaches cradle-to-grave management of its installations and infrastructure, from planning and acquisition through utilization, operation and maintenance, to eventual demolition or disposal. Programs the candidate will support transform infrastructure investment strategies to aggressively focus on consolidation to more efficiently utilize existing facilities and demolition of excess and failing facilities.

Required:

• 10 years of experience in Department of Defense asset management, facilities planning, or related disciplines
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication to be able to interact with civilian and military leadership
• Ability to conduct basic facility requirements, asset evaluations, master plans, economic analyses

• Secret clearance

Desired:

• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
