We are a small, private gynecology-only (no obstetrics), private medical practice.

We are located in picturesque Princeton, New Jersey, halfway between Philadelphia and New York. Our patient population is diverse and comes primarily from the local suburban and university communities.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Medical Billing Specialist to join us. We would love to speak with candidates interested in both, full-time and part-time positions. This could be a hybrid/remote/or in-office position.

The candidate should possess excellent billing and coding skills, ability to effectively communicate with insurance companies and patients, and be very thorough and organized. Prior EMR experience is also necessary.

Our practice utilizes Athena EMR, which performs first-pass billing. The team member in this role will be responsible for reviewing coding, working denials, answering patient inquiries, generating and reviewing reports among other billing responsibilities. The team member will also ensure the optimization of documentation to improve coding quality and enable accurate and complete capture of revenue and revenue enhancement opportunities. When needed, the team member will assist with hospital and insurance credentialing.
