Responsibilities

• Produce and share ‘big ideas’ for our products and campaigns.
• Write persuasive, conversion-focused copy on both front-end and back-end products.
• Be an ace researcher that can dig until you find the most compelling story.
• Work independently while adhering to agreed-upon timelines and milestones.
• Attend weekly and monthly skill-building sessions and meetings to contribute ideas and feedback.
• Mentor other writers, provide feedback on other’s copy, help where needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a financial direct response copywriter is highly desired. (Proven track record of success years of experience will be considered)
• Writing samples for review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and across departments.
• The desire and ability to work on more than one project at once.
• Strong interest in the news, politics and global affairs is a plus.
• Display boundless curiosity.
• Comfortable selling and being able to close deals.
• Strong attention to detail, including current compliance requirements.
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to work under little supervision.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
• Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
• Ability to hear
• Ability to freely move about the office
• Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
• Fluency in the English language
