ABOUT THE POSITION

The DC Assembly Lead is a key player in providing indirect supervision of the prioritized schedule and activities within assembly and kitting operations here at Marketlab. This role will work with cross functional teams to lead production to the desired outcome.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Direct Assembly Team activities 
• Prioritize daily the schedule of assembly/kitting projects. Monitor and re-prioritize as necessary.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Operate picker machines to find the right products to fulfill orders. 
• Fill out returns process order types relating to the distribution center. 
• Understand inventory and all relationships each transaction has on inventory levels.
• Complete tasks within assigned timelines. 
• Ensure the production floor is clean at the end of the business day. 
• Contribute to the success of departmental and company goals.
• The ability to work varied shifts in effort to meet business needs.
• Complete miscellaneous assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 
• Two or more years of experience or related experience and training.
• Must have excellent communication skills to work with and instruct all team members.
• Working knowledge of all distribution center functions.
• Ability to identify and review best practices and process improvements
