This position is for primary hours on weekends. Additional hours are available upon request. Must be 18 years or older.

Looking for an outgoing personality to serve customers at our Deli Counter and run cash register as needed.

Help customers find what they are looking for, or see if an order can be placed to fulfill their needs. Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Provide prompt service.

What you will be doing:

• Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, providing samples, and responding to requests.
• Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli products.
• Preparing special orders and party trays.
• Updating deli displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
• Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
• Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.

• Build your biceps because you need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

This position role:

• During peak service hours on the weekends.
• Reports to owner/manager and administrative staff.
