As a Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Technician with Market Equipment, you will perform essential repairs and service work at various commercial sites, such as grocery stores and supermarkets - we do not perform restaurant service work. You will play an instrumental role in maintaining refrigeration equipment to ensure longevity and availability for storing goods for purchase.
Our growing team is seeking a detail oriented Refrigeration Tech in the Spokane, Washington area.
Job Duties:
-Diagnose, service, and repair mechanical and electrical components of HVAC / refrigeration systems and related components, including self-contained coolers, freezers, and single rack systems
-Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment such as walk-in and case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers
-Interact directly with grocery store managers and store directors when quoting equipment repairs and recommending replacements when necessary
Requirements:
-At least 1-3 years of Refrigeration and/or Commercial HVAC experience
-Valid Electrical Trainee or Journey Level certification
-Availability for scheduled ON CALL rotation as needed
-Ability to pass background check / drug screen as needed
-Able to lift/push/pull/move 50lbs on a regular basis
-Clean Driving Record for use of your company issued vehicle on a daily basis
Preferred:
-Relative education / certification in HVAC and Refrigeration Industry highly desired
-EPA Certification
-Prior Grocery Store / Supermarket HVAC / Refrigeration experience a plus
