Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our bakery, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the bakery area is clean and well-stocked.

Duties:
- Assist customers with bakery purchases and inquiries
- Package, label, and price bakery products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Prepare simple bakery items like cookies, pastries, and bread
- Receive deliveries and restock bakery supplies

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers
- Strong customer service skills to assist patrons with their bakery needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment like a grocery store or kitchen
