Seafood Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seafood Manager to join our team. As a Seafood Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the seafood department, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the seafood department
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of seafood products
- Order and purchase seafood products from suppliers
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records
- Train and supervise seafood department staff
- Interview and hire new team members
- Set sales goals and implement strategies to achieve them
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their seafood selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood department
- Collaborate with other department managers to optimize store operations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a seafood management role preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of seafood, including proper handling and storage techniques
- Excellent math skills for inventory control and pricing calculations
- Ability to manage a team effectively and provide guidance and support
- Experience with interviewing, recruiting, and training staff members
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Proficient in using POS systems for sales transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively

Pay: $14.75 - $22.25 per hour
