Mark C. Pope Associates, Inc. was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Smyrna, GA. The company is comprised of three independent business units that distribute industrial and commercial products. The cleaning equipment division sells and supports industrial and commercial floor sweepers and floor scrubbers within the southeast United States. Mark C. Pope is currently the largest distributor of industrial equipment for Nilfisk-Advance and is currently seeking a direct outside sales employee to cover parts of south Georgia and north Florida. This position is base uncapped commission.

The cleaning equipment territory manager is responsible for identifying, prospecting and marketing to companies that are in need of industrial cleaning equipment. We are seeking candidates that have previous sales experience, preferably with capital equipment sales experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Identifying target companies through cold calling (phone & in person), following up on marketing leads, and through sales partners.
• Performing site surveys to develop a cleaning plan and recommendation for the customer.
• Generate proposals for products and services.
• Present proposals, product overview/demonstration and recommended support services.
• Follow up on proposals, phone calls and visits.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to a resolution.
• Maintain a list of targeted businesses.
• Log all activity into company CRM.
• Safely transport equipment for customer demonstrations.
• And most importantly, generate equipment sales!

• Self starter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
