General Manager- MANTAS USV Manufacturing

This position will report to the COO and work closely with the GM of the Devil Ray Manufacturing Facility along with the function leaders of Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Accounting. The MANTAS Manufacturing Facility will operate on an ERP based system once fully implemented. Managing a workforce to meet the schedule and quality of USV products is the primary focus. This is a hands-on position with an emphasis on leading by example as well as managing the process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Project a positive and professional “MARTAC Team” brand always

· Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Engineering to manage an efficient kitting and building process.

· Organize workforce for optimum productivity.

· Work with engineers to ensure integration into final product.

· Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.

· Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components.

· Remove and/or install components, test IAW MM, and troubleshoot vessel systems.

· Proactively communicate with both customer and Melbourne FL headquarters.

· Performs assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

· Follow and enforce all safety procedures and practices as established by the Company.

· Ensure quality standard are followed.

· Report to senior management in an efficient manner with regards to cost, productivity, and schedule.

· Excellent attention to detail

· Crew Chief experience a plus.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to LEAD a team environment.

· Ability to onboard and train workforce.

· Strong knowledge and proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems.

• Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree minimum and Master’s degree a plus

· Experience in implementation and or use of ERP/MRP systems

· 10 years of managing a manufacturing process.

· Unmanned vehicle knowledge or experience is a plus.

· Fishbowl System knowledge is a plus

· Proven experience managing deadlines.

· Proven experience planning and organizing schedules.

Ability to commute/relocate:

· Melbourne, FL 32934: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

· 25 % travel in support of new business and existing customers

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
