Job overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Control Clerk to join our team. The Materials Control Clerk will be responsible for managing and organizing company paperwork and documents to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Duties:
Receiving packages & materials and placing them in the correct inventory locations
Generating & organizing receiving paperwork
Conducting inventory counts
Marinating a clean and organized warehouse space
Processing all materials returns
Shipping various products to customers, other offices and vendors
Kitting materials for production staff
Other tasks as assigned in support of the purchasing group
Skills:
The Materials Control Clerk must be capable of performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body movements, such as lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Applicants should be able to lift 40 pounds from the ground to four feet above the floor.
Work environment may be outdoors in extreme heat and cold environments, but typically is not.
Applicants should be able to read and write clearly in English. Familiarity with basic office software (e-mail, simple spreadsheets) as well as ERP systems is desirable.
Prior experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment is required. Applicants should be familiar with/capable in the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners and other
