Mariners Landing Country Club is a 1,000-acre resort on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake. We are seeking amazing people to join our Golf Course Grounds Team.

Team members maintain green spaces and golf course grounds including tees, fairways, greens, roughs, and hazards.

Greenskeeper
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain golf course grounds.
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance activities including placement of tees and pins, and turf care.
• Mow turf either by walking or a riding mower.
• Mow tees, fairways, greens, and roughs.
• Maintain teeing ground.
• Edge, rake, and maintain sand bunkers.
• Edge cart paths and around fairway yardage markers.
• Weed eating around trees, bunkers, and cart path curbs.
• Remove leaves and other debris.
• Trim and edge around walks and flower beds.
• Blow cart paths.
• Remove debris from the golf course.

Qualifications

• Have a positive attitude and a team mentality.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive turf vehicles and mowers.
• Have working knowledge and ability to operate outdoor power equipment including but not limited to; mower, zero-turn mower, tractor, weed-eater, chainsaw, trimmer, edger, blower, and pressure washer.
• Be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
