Marine Connection, South Florida's top Dealer for New Boats is looking for a qualified Service Advisor to join our award-winning team in West Palm Beach.

Tuesday - Saturday workweek

Marine Connection is an authorized Yamaha KEY DEALER & service center selling COBIA, COBALT, SEA HUNT ,BLACKFIN , PATHFINDER , HURRICANE and QUARKEN BOATS.

**Job Summary:**

The Service Advisor is often our first point of contact for service customers via telephone and in person. In this role, you will prepare written estimates for service work and parts and act as a liaison between customers, manufacturer representatives, and service technicians.

**Duties:**

 Serve as first line of contact and communication link between customer and dealership during the service process.

 Schedule pick up and drop off of customer boats.

 Identify customers’ needs. Written Repair Orders.

 Secure customer approval before repair work is started.

 Maintain close working relationships with technicians, sales representatives, and parts specialists.

 Hold technicians accountable for providing needed documentation to submit warranty

claims and close repairs order.

 Once repairs have been completed walk boat and verify repair completions.

 Update customer on repair completion, collect payment and schedule pick up date and

service wash.

 Call customers regarding additional work that may need to be performed and when the

work is complete.

 Is aware of daily workload distribution for the department.

 Other duties as assigned.

**Experience:**

 Must have experience as marine service writer or marine technician.

 Ability to sell additional parts and services to clients.

 Understanding of boat systems, engines, Marine products, and have computer skills.

 Ability to communicate at a high level both verbally and in writing.

 Must be customer service driven in an effort to increase service revenue.

 Be team oriented and work well with others.

 Proficient in Lightspeed/Dockmaster is a plus.

 Maintains a clean and safe work area.

 Must have an understanding of marine warranty process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
