JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for promoting and maintaining the safety and security of students, faculty, employees, visitors, and property, patrolling and monitoring buildings and grounds, providing incident prevention and detecting signs of criminal or suspicious activity, conducting all mechanical and “punch” rounds per shift, responding promptly to emergencies, providing first aid if needed, and alerting police or emergency personnel as appropriate, and de-escalating difficult situations.
