Pinnacle Hospitality Group is currently recruiting for a General Manager for The Marina Bay an Ascend Hotel Collection, an upscale 96-room boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Chincoteague Island. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 2 years of managerial experience in a high-volume hotel setting
• Preferred experience in a hotel(s) within a vacation town market
• Experience overseeing attached, laid-back Food & Beverage operation
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Experience and knowledge of Property Management Systems
• Knowledge of social media, OTA, third party booking sites, etc.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multitask, particularly during the peak season (May - September).

Essential duties include:

• Take a hands-on approach to oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments, aiming to maximize profitability while ensuring excellent guest service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, financial plans, and operational goals by tracking the annual budget, providing recommendations for performance enhancement.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints, concerns, and special requests, taking immediate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Utilize various sales and marketing techniques, such as OTAs and social media platforms, to promote the overall business of the hotel.
• Foster proper communication between departments to help maintain efficiency and encourage a positive work environment
• Proactively manage the recruitment, hiring, training, and discipline of employees.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by corporate management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
