We are looking for a positive, well-organized, customer service-driven individual who is interested in joining an enthusiastic and motivated team. Applicants should possess an innate ability to multitask, work well under pressure and be flexible and well-organized with great attention to detail. Our team works collaboratively with one another, as well as with referring doctors to provide continuity of care, striving to exceed patient expectations. 
The administrative assistant/scheduling coordinator position ensures that our patient schedule is organized and maintains a productive flow throughout the day. The right candidate will be trained in our well-established systems that ensure our practice operates efficiently and effectively for our patients and for our team members. Our goal is to provide cutting-edge periodontal and implant solutions in a comfortable and relaxed environment, where the needs of the patient come first and the role of administrative assistant/scheduling coordinator is vital to ensuring we reach our goals.
Job Type: Full Time.
Compensation: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include: 
  • Create a welcoming and calm atmosphere for new and existing patients, family members, doctors, and the team.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with team members, referring dentists, specialists, and patients. 
  • Process and post payments.
  • Maintain email communication and address incoming emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process new patient intakes.
  • Complete daily schedule audits.
  • Verify and document patient insurance information.
  • Submit outgoing referrals.
  • Maintain and update patient records.
  • Submit Electronic Prescriptions.
  • Order Office Supplies.
  • Answer/Return Phone Calls.
  • Request and upload patient x-rays, referrals, and reports from dental and specialist offices.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings.

  • Proficient in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Skilled in the use of standard office equipment including multi-line phones, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Competent in MS Excel, Word, Google Docs, and Practice Management Software.
