Duties:

1. Identifying patients properly and explaining procedures to obtain cooperation.
2. Maintaining a sanitized and organized work area in compliance with laboratory procedures and policies.
3. Drawing blood samples using aseptic techniques.
4. Assisting in the safe disposal and storage of sharps and bio-hazardous waste.
5. Processing specimens for testing and storage in accordance with established procedures.
6. Adhering strictly to infection-control protocols while interacting with patients or handling samples.
7. Partnering with laboratory and healthcare staff to address queries concerning specimen collection.
8. Regularly participating in training and continuing education sessions.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Technician Program.
3. Covid vaccination.
4. At least one year of experience as a Phlebotomy Technician is preferred.
5. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
