Marigold Board and Care is Hiring an Elderly Caregiver Near Buena, CA

Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following proper procedures and protocols - Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents - Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks - Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and procedures - Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in assisted living facilities - Compassionate and patient-oriented mindset - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Duties, responsibilities, and requirements may be subject to change based on the needs of the facility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Weekends as needed
