We are currently seeking a Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of field employees, managing client properties, and overseeing day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for providing guidance, training, quality control, and effective communication to our team and clients, adhering to the high standards set forth by Ed Castro Landscape. The Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor acts as a liaison between crews, Account Managers, and upper management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment for employees, clients, and the public.
• Plan daily tasks for crews and assist in developing weekly schedules.
• Manage budgeted efficiencies, including labor, materials, equipment, and truck maintenance.
• Review daily time and GPS reports, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain quality service standards within budgeted hours.
• Communicate completion of service requests and address any issues promptly.
• Monitor and enhance job quality through collaboration with Account Managers and service teams.
• Foster strong relationships with Account Managers and Supervisors.
• Conduct scheduled property walks with Account Managers to uphold quality and service standards.
• Recruit, evaluate, train, and develop teams and crew members.
• Promote the adoption of new landscape techniques, technology, and materials.
• Track inventory of tools, PPE, and chemicals.
• Serve as a backup driver when needed.
• Act as the central liaison to the Fleet Manager for equipment-related matters.

Reporting:

This position reports to Account Managers and the Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in equipment service, operation, and minor repairs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in customer relations and conflict resolution.
• Ability to solve problems efficiently, from routing to client issues.
• Familiarity with computer software, including Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
• Capability to prioritize multiple demands and requests effectively.
• Knowledge of plant materials, turf, insects, and diseases.
• Clean driving record.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of relevant landscape management experience.
• Willingness and capability to pursue continuing education through workshops, classes, and professional memberships.
