Our site specialists, expert masons, experienced planting crews and irrigation and lighting technicians work with our managers and estimators to deliver complex residential projects. Due to ongoing growth we are seeking an experienced Irrigation Crew Member to join our team
The Lighting/Irrigation Crew Member physically implements all landscape irrigation installations in accordance with pre-established work schedules, specifications, procedures and standards of quality. The result is a high performing, reliable system that works over-time and creates customer loyalty and references.
Responsibilities:

• • Performs high quality, technically proficient work.
  • Represents the company professionally by observing the dress code and being a professional onsite; develops high quality relationships with the Landscape Architect, General Contractor, and Owner.
  • Always a team player with fellow Crew Members, Crew Leader, Project Manager, Administrative (Office) support; mentor's junior staff; alerts Crew Leader of potential problems anticipated or observed; learns the job of the next immediate supervisor.
  • Knows the job site and its technical peculiarities.
  • Strictly observes safety rules and ensures others observe them. Permits NO accidents.
  • Submits all paperwork and required information such as crew labor time, materials, and subcontractors in a timely manner each day.
  • Takes care of all equipment and tools by using them safely, reporting and acting on maintenance needs, and preventing theft.
  • Maintains strict punctuality at starting and quitting times, break, and lunch periods; provides consistent job site and/or personnel information to supervisor by phone or in person.
  • Maintains neat, organized housekeeping standards on the job, truck bed, truck cab, and assigned field area.
  • Safely and efficiently does tasks including:
    • Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
    • Repair and maintenance of existing / previously installed systems
    • Trench work - install drains, utilities, etc.
    • Safety training - CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10 hour
    • Other labor tasks as assigned.

Safety: Help promote a climate that emphasizes the importance of complying with all safety measures and requirements.

• • Proper use of PPE (Safety Glass, Ear Protection, Hard Hats, Gloves, Hi Vis Clothing).
  • Daily clean-up to prevent hazards and injuries.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated, maintained, and cleaned per best practices.
  • Understand RP Marzilli's reporting protocols and report accidents as required.
  • Participate in weekly Safety Toolbox Talks.

Qualifications:

• Ability to take and carry out directions.

o Machinery operation - Hoisting/Hydraulics license
o Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred
o Safety Training - CPR/First Aid, Safety Program

Physical Requirements:

• • Strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work in all weather conditions.
  • Physical agility required to access all areas of properties and construction sites.
  • Assist in manual labor and lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Lift and place materials weighing up to pounds many times per day.
