Marian Moss Enterprises is Hiring a Warehouse Manager Near Lubbock, TX

JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Manager is responsible for the completion of contracts for the Marian Moss work center. The position requires that all necessary components for the completion of the contracts are available and that accurate billing information as well as supervisor and client hours calculations are completed and turned in daily. This job is a full-time job. Work hours must be conducted in normal hours of operation (8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday), but the schedule may vary, depending on the needs of the organization. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job functions satisfactorily.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • The Plant Manager ensures that all Work Center Supervisors complete all duties and responsibilities for the work center area.
  • Responsible for coordination of all physical plant maintenance, security and upkeep of buildings.
  • Ensures accurate daily production and attendance record for each assigned client worker.
  • Guides and develops employees in the accomplishment of their duties and professional growth.
  • Ensures the effective coordination of all work center activities.
  • Ensures the effective coordination and participation with all Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS} activities.
  • Ensures the effective training of client workers in the various work situations available through the company.
  • Ensures that all required data (i.e. worker production hours, rates, attendance, billing, management reports) are maintained on a daily or as-needed, basis.
  • Ensures that all services to workers and all contract work are accomplished within the guidelines and requirements of customers.
  • Ensures the effective coordination, care, maintenance, and replacement of all equipment and vehicles utilized in the delivery of services.
  • Maintains effective communications with contracting companies to assure that services are delivered in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Ensures the effective training of all staff related to applicable company policies, worker care guidelines and customer requirements and expectations.
  • Evaluates services (contracts, workers, staff) to assure optimal program functioning.
  • Supervises assigned staff to assure the effective functioning of the services of the organization.
  • Manages safety issues, personnel, and follows established procedures.
  • Hires, evaluates, promotes, disciplines, and terminates (with approval of the Executive Director) employees.
  • Responsible for accurate completion and review of all performance evaluations of staff supervised by this position. Performance evaluations must be completed after the first three months of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Responds to inquiries, questions, and requests for information.
  • Responsible for seeing that all co-workers and clients are treated with respect and consideration.
  • Demonstrates leadership, independent thinking, and responsiveness.
  • Ensures excellent customer service (internal and external).
  • Responsible for ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
  • Maintains the highest level of standards for treatment of clients to ensure that no real or perceived actions of abuse, neglect or exploitation occur. Responsible for seeing that all co-workers and clients are treated with respect and consideration. Ensures that any suspicion of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of clients is reported immediately.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting any damage to vehicles or equipment being used.
  • Responsible for maintaining a harmonious work environment.
  • Responsible for keeping the work area clean and well maintained.
  • Shows up to work, on time, ready to work scheduled hours.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES OR JOBREQUIREMENTS

  • May be required to assist with the transportation.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all records generated within the organization.
  • Ensures confidentiality of clients and coworkers.
  • Notifies the Executive Director of any perceived problems related to the organization.
  • Maintains all work records of the organization to assure the effective flow of accurate information to all departments of the organization.
  • Reports any suspected fraud and/or abuse to the Executive Director.
  • Ensures that employees and clients keep timesheets accurately and based on actual hours worked or number of items completed (for piece rate).
  • Ensures that personal employee timesheets are submitted accurately and timely, based on actual time worked.
  • Ensures that any on-the job injury is reported immediately and followed up with appropriate forms and actions.
  • Must be or be willing to be become a certified forklift driver.
  • Must be willing to be trained in first aid and CPR and be willing to use such skills on the job.
  • Ensures any reports of harassment are immediately reported and appropriate actions are taken.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Two years of work experience may substitute for each year of college.
  • Knowledge of or experience in vocational rehabilitation preferred.
  • Must be able to pass regular criminal history checks.
  • Must be willing to take and pass a drug/alcohol test and comply with the agency drug and alcohol policy.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of computers.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instruction and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize a variety of assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to complete the work with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities and work situations.
  • Ability to supervise multiple staff and workers with disabilities.
  • Must possess and maintain valid Texas motor vehicle operator’s permit of appropriate classification and endorsement as required. Must agree to maintain a satisfactory MVR and minimum requirement of insurability as required by law. MVR background checks may be conducted by the agency.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to maintain physical condition and stamina appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • High level of daily repetitive motion with work center equipment.
  • Ability to bend or squat required.
  • Must be able to supervise and/or perform the work necessary or the timely completion of all work center contracts.
  • Must be able to maintain all equipment necessary for the timely completion of all work center contracts and/or supervise the maintenance of the equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work environment includes an inside environment where the noise level could be low to moderate.
  • Outside environment level could be moderate to loud.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Normal travel - ability to travel to various locations for work duties.
  • May transport clients to and from worksites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,801.00 per year
