Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be preparing, reviewing, and consulting in tax matters, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and maximizing tax efficiencies.

Duties:

- Prepare and review tax returns, including federal and state income tax. Tax Types: 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1041, & 990

- Conduct research on tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws

- Provide guidance on financial decisions with tax implications

- Manage relationships with clients and tax authorities

- Analyze and respond to tax notices

- Deliver a quality product in a timely manner

Experience:

- CPA or EA certification preferred

- Experience reviewing business, individual and trust income tax returns with intermediate to complex tax profiles

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Drake Tax Software, & CCH ProSystem Fx is a plus

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Must understand & adhere to security protocols for sensitive information & documents

- Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with staff and tax clients

Our office environment is casual and flexible, but is equally balanced with hard work. We’re looking for someone who has at least 3-5 years of experience. We prepare a variety of returns, and seeking a dependable person to add to our team.

There is possibility for remote work, but in-person office hours are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
