Front End Associate

Duties:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the front counter
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area, including checkout lanes and surrounding areas.
- Assist with bagging items for customers as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and store policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts, such as calculating discounts or sales tax, is a plus.
- Familiarity with restaurant or culinary environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience with SLICE POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
