Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg is currently searching for a motivated and talented Manager on Duty to join our award winning team. Located in the center of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park, this resort has 163 rooms and suites, Spa, Margaritaville inspired License To Chill Bar & Grill and Joe Merchants coffee shop, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and additional scenic outdoor event space. POSITION SUMMARY:

Represents management team during the overnight shift providing support to all departments.

Directly supervises Night Audit personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office/audit duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide support to all departments including performing desk procedures, valet services and other assistance as needed.

· Coach team members, as needed, to maintain consistency in operations and high service standards.

· Responsible for direct contact with guests ensuring customer satisfaction and implementing the service recovery process.

· Ensure shift communications are conducted at Guest Services including briefing the Night Auditor at beginning of their shift.

· Provide timely and constructive feedback to the General Manager to ensure a better guest experience.

· Monitor labor hours and make adjustments according to occupancy each night.

· Actively participate in the decision-making process for guest relocation due to over booking, execute accordingly and ensure a smooth relocation process.

· Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures & standards.

· Understand all emergency procedures and prepare to take lead in the event an emergency plan must be executed.

· Handle other duties as assigned the General Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be willing to work nights, holidays and weekends. Professional appearance with strong written and verbal communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Strong computer skills and 2 years hospitality management experience.
