Marcus & Millichap, Inc, the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment brokerage company (80 offices in North America), is looking to hire a highly motivated QA Analyst.

Key responsibilities include:

• Testing of business process functionality configured/ programmed in Finance & Accounting systems.
• Prepare & maintain documentation related to business process being tested, testing plans, test data, and test results.
• Collaborate with system developers including external consultants, project managers, and business users to coordinate the testing process.
• Prepare and build database of testing scenarios, processes to create test data, processes to verify actual results vis-à-vis expected test results.
• Identify areas of improvement not only in the business processes, but also the testing methodologies
• Identify and implement automation in the testing methodologies.

• Preferred 4 years’ experience as QA testing analyst in different types of accounting and finance systems, including major ERP systems.
• Knowledge of several functional business areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Good understanding of various business processes including month-end process, year-end process, payment process, corporate allocations process, electronic payments process, bank statement reconciliation process
• Familiarity with SAP ECC6, Blackline, Concur Invoice, Concur Expense, Security Weaver.
• Working knowledge of basic MS SQL script writing, and expert level MS Excel skills.
• Ability to clearly understand the functionality to be tested, break it down in smaller test cases, and link them together to make sure it meets user requirements.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline.
