This position will support Data and Analytics by working with technology and key business stakeholders to move and calculate data for numerous analytic tools.
Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Optimize data engineering systems and processes to handle large-scale data sets efficiently. Design solutions that can scale horizontally and vertically,
• Enforce data governance policies and practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with data governance and security teams to implement robust data protection mechanisms and access controls.
• Partner with Analytics, Data Product, and Business stakeholders to create roadmaps and execute project plans in fast-paced agile development environment
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data requirements are addressed
• Develop, maintain, and improve BI tools, build and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Work efficiently and productively in a remote-first work environment
• Design and develop robust data architectures and data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to build scalable and reliable data infrastructure.

Education & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling and data management.
• Expertise with SQL.
• Experience across Azure cloud data ecosystem.
• Strong analytical skills and independent learning style.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture best practices, data modeling tools, and ELT/ETL processes.
• Solid understanding of architectural design patterns and strategies with cloud-based data architecture, data lakes, data lake house, data mesh and data warehousing.
• Ability to create analysis and quick prototypes for different implementation alternatives on data ecosystem.
• Our stack is Azure, SQL Server, SSIS, PowerBI, Snowflake, and Python for custom data science.
